I am excited to get back to the basics. I love the idea of schoolwork because I believe it gives me purpose. I have a one-year-old son. His name is Cyan, I want to brush up on literacy skills so that I will be fully prepared when he goes to school. It is important to be literate in this day and age. Everything we do revolves around being literate, whether it be texting, filling out an application, or something as simple as following directions. We use our ability to read every single day.
